Specialty jeweler with European roots
The Danube River (pronounced dan-yoob) is Europe’s second longest river. Originating in Germany, the river flows southeast for almost 2,000 miles, forming the southern boundary for Romania, and eventually empties in to the Black Sea. We got our start in international jewelry sales in the early 2000’s. After working and training in an independent jewelry store for several years, founder John McNair began traveling to Bucharest, Romania, the native home of his wife, to sell diamonds, fine jewelry, and watches to private clientele. While back in Texas, John started Danube Diamonds as a way to provide the same concierge level service to US based clients.
